How to Remove [Norton Anti-Spam] from Valid Email

I have NIS 2009 on Windows XP SP3. My email client is Outlook 2002. When I tell NIS that an email it has flagged is not, in fact, spam, NIS does not remove [Norton Anti-Spam] from the Subject line.

If NIS can insert [Norton Anti-Spam] in the Subject, surely it can remove it as well? How do I tell NIS to remove [Norton Anti-Spam]? Thanks for your help.

I'm glad it's been brought to the attention of the developers.

Having [Norton Anti-Spam] showing on valid e-mail is rediculous, but it's not a deal killer. I'm sticking with NIS.

Hi Bulldoggy

Its a good suggestion.

If you feel certian Clean Emails are wrongly classified as Spam,

Then mark the Email as 'Not Spam' and add the Senders's Address to the Allowed List. So for the next time, this Sender's Email will land up in the Inbox Folder without [Norton Antispam] tag in the Subject line

Thanks
