How to remove the Norton Backup Drive located in "My Computer"

Hello everyone,

 

I am using Norton 360 V5 20.1.1.2 and everytime that I open my computer I see this icon for Norton Backup Drive System folder among my other drives.

 

How do I get rid of that?

 

What I have done so far:

I have uninstalled Norton 360 using the Norton Uninstall Tool --rebooted---and reinstalled from the website--rebooted.

 

I did a backup months ago and I no longer want to do one. Is there a way to disable the backup?

 

So How do I disable the backup?

How do I get rid of that Icon in "My Computer"

If you just want the Norton Backup drive to be removed from My Computer, please navigate to Main UI -> Settings -> Backup Settings -> Norton Backup Drive -> Off

 

This will remove the drive.

The Norton Backup Drive will appear in My Computer as long as you have a Norton product with the backup feature installed on that computer. 

Can you confirm your exact product? Is it Norton Security Premium (with Backup)?

FYI..The Norton Backup Drive will only appear if you are using a Windows admin account.
