Issue abstract:

How to remove or permanently hide the “trackers may be slowing your browsing” advertisement panel from the Norton Home screen.

Detailed description:

On the Home page of Norton 360 there is a large panel at the bottom that says something like:

“XXX trackers may be slowing your browsing – Continue to removal”

This looks like an advertising or promotional block for an additional feature. I find it distracting and I would like to remove or hide this block completely.

I have looked through the Settings and Notifications sections, but I have not been able to find any option to:

  • disable this specific panel,

  • turn off similar promotional / marketing messages on the dashboard, or

  • switch the Home screen to a simpler view without offers.

I would like to know whether there is any supported way to hide this panel or disable such promotional content.

Product & version number: 26.1.10348.0

OS details: Windows 11 25H2

That’s exactly what I’ve said several times in other threads. I’ve even asked them to remove this information that scares customers about what’s happening, but we know it’s just to sell more products. I just think Norton’s strategy is completely wrong, but they don’t want to know about it. Unfortunately, there’s no way to get rid of it on this screen. I just think it’s absurd.

That would be a sad story. I think the only way is not to open the panel anymore.

Just keep it in background.

Norton’s team is responsible for removing unnecessary information, but since it’s for sale, I don’t think it will be removed.

I’m sure you have your reasons for keeping the 360 interface open. Personally I only open it when I need to answer a question for other users here, and I don’t have the information at my fingertips. Or I need to take a screenshot. Norton works in the background without any intervention from me.
