I have a WD external memory device that may have gotten a virus from a laptop into which it was plugged. I am loathe to plug it into my PC to scan it with my Norton app because I am concerned that it could plant a virus even before I have time for the scan. Is there a surefire safe way to plug this in to my PC for a scan?
