When I Custom Scan my extHD (2:1 Compression) ...Should I toggle my NIS10 Settings ~ Data Extraction Limit: On to Off &/or Remove Infected Compressed Files: Off to On
Unknown if 2GB Data Extraction Limit is OK for 2:1 Compression...
Unknown if I should Remove Infected Compressed Files as the Backup Image is 1 Compressed Item. I have scanned Backup Image saved with no compression and NIS only reports 1 item. I was advised to weekly Scan my extHD as it is easier for NIS to find bad stuff on the extHD. Reason given is that scanning extHD is like scanning my HDD is Safe Mode....less noise. When I Custom Scan F:\ then NIS scans all of F:\ and reports 150 items.
