hi id like to setup scam protection against my own norton 360 program prompting me to purchase mcafee style upgrades for fake out of date drivers ect

@Stephen_Mcloughlin Unfortunately those are marketing and are coded into the Norton products which cannot be disabled.

Not at all. I am saying there isn’t anything any of us can do to prevent the sell-up notifications. We can disable a couple of settings that may also disable legitimate notifications in the process, that is counter productive. Running Smart Scans always produces the “continue to fix” radio buttons shown in your screenshot. Our recommendation is not running SS for that reason.
As far as the main user interface is concerned that has been an issue presented to Norton many times, it still remains because, of marketing. Until Norton decides it is a waste of UI landscape and is driving customers to other products and makes changes accordingly we will continue to deal with it.
