For some reason when I now get the alert for the monthly protection report, it keeps coming back, even though I have read the report. It only started this week, before after reading the report, the alert went away. It now keeps popping up when doing tasks or using programs such as FS2020 or word. I cannot find any settings to turn off alerts and don not know why it happens.
Its annoying, especially if you are using FS2020 and just on finals as the pop up appears, completely ruins the entire experience. On a more serious note, is this something permanent? or is it a bug, to be fixed?
Similar experience. What’s with things (I want to say suddenly but this is just a new iteration of popups that have been ongoing.) popping up in the middle of workflow. You have an idle timer setting. You can tell that I’m an active user. I have notifications silenced in Windows, you know, the operating system. I have opted out of advertising and other telemetry. Are the clues to how I want to use the suite not already abundant? Like others have stated. This is the kind of nuisance design logic that drives people (i.e., me) away. Good design should never steal focus UNLESS the situation is dire. An information item? Nope.
