How to stop unwanted Norton prompts

How do I stop the annoying nag messages from Norton on my Windows 10 system.  I keep getting reminded that I am protecting only 8 of 10 devices I am entitled to protect,  And I am repeatedly getting reminders to set up capabilities that I don't want to use, such as the password manager and VPN.  Please help me turn these unwanted messages off permanently!

I have been monitoring, and there have been no more unwanted messages or prompts from Norton, so my issue appears to be resolved.  Thanks again for the advice.

Thank you for the response.  Over the next several days I'll collect some examples of the prompts I am receiving and post them here.  I'll also follow the other tips you provided.

AustinJerry,

Your original post under Norton Core will continue to show in that forum and is still accessible from there.  Peterweb simply had it moved to a more appropriate forum where it would hopefully get the proper attention needed.  It's now located in the "Norton 360 | Secure VPN for Windows Forum"

Is this nag message showing in your browser, a separate pop up on the desktop, or in the Norton GUI?  If you could provide a screen shot, it would be helpful.

Not sure this will stop the messages you're getting but you can try the following:

The next time it appears, check if there's an option that says don't remind me again or something to that effect.  Also, check your settings in the Norton application under Settings, Administrative Settings, and turn off Remote Management and Special Offer Notifications.  Also, at the top of the GUI in the blue border, you should see something that says Sign in or Sign out.  Make sure you're signed out.

Next you can login to your My Norton Account through your Browser and select Personal Settings and ensure you uncheck email notifications.

If you get any further emails from norton, simply scroll to the bottom of the email and click unsubscribe.  Might have to do this a couple of times as new ones come in.

That is fine with me, but it would have been more helpful if you had provided a link to where the post is now located.  “A more appropriate board” does nothing to help me find it.

As this thread has nothing to do with the Norton Core router, I'll ask it be moved to a more appropriate board.
