I want to temporarily disable the Norton Safe Web Extension in my Firefox browser settings. I need to do this in order to troubleshoot a rendering error I am encountering when logging in to a website.
In Firefox Settings > Extensions & Themes, I see that Norton Safe Web is Enabled. The 3-dot option dropdown gives me only 3 choices for this extension: REMOVE, REPORT, MANAGE. If I choose MANAGE, there is no option to Disable. I really hate REMOVING the thing because then I have to figure out how to add it back in right away after I troubleshoot the web page that gives me the rendering error.
How can I temporarily disable Norton Safe Web in Firefox without having to remove and reinstall the extension?
[I will ask the same question of Firefox Support.]
I found the solution on my own. But I can't figure out how to delete the question!!
Bottom line: NEVER MIND! I disabled the extension successfully!!
