I bought a Norton 360 Deluxe subscription via iOS App Store and want to transfer the subscription to my Windows 11 laptop but seems like there is no way to do it.
I first tried to sign in online but in the ‘My Subscriptions’ section of the account settings, it just says ‘Basic Subscription: Active’ under Norton Password Manager (which I did not subscribe to), and clicking on the download button to the right directs me to the Norton Password Manager website. I also have no order history on the website.
I then attempted to download Norton through Microsoft Store but whenever I try to sign in, I repeatedly get a message saying ‘Server error: We’re working to resolve an issue that prevents us from completing your request (- 400)’ and clicking on the subscribe button ends up with ‘We cannot connect to the Norton server.’ I should mention that my internet connection is fine, disabled my VPN, adblocker, and other security measures, restarted my computer many times, and uninstalled and reinstalled the program.
I downloaded and used the Norton Remove and Reinstall tool and after signing in, it says I need a product key or code to enter which were nowhere to be seen in the app, browser, or my email, and apparently according to Google, I am not supposed to get one since I bought the subscription from the App Store, and Norton is supposed to recognize it from my Apple ID, despite never making the account with Apple.
I finally tried to sign in through Apple and still needed a product key or code at the end, currently leaving me stuck.
May anyone help me on this, if it is possible anymore? I did successfully transfer the subscription from iOS to Windows years ago with ease, but it seems like it got more complicated now. I would appreciate any form of help before directly contacting Norton Customer Service as a last resort.
I don’t see where you can purchase 360 Deluxe from the Apple App Store. Do you have a link to this?
AFAIK, purchasing from a mobile app store, you are only purchasing the subscription for the device you use to make the purchase. That would explain why your Norton Account shows a Basic Subscription Active.
All: Here is a screenshot from the Microsoft store. I have Norton 360 Deluxe installed on this device and have an active subscription for 5 devices. The store doesn’t give indications of how many devices are supported, nor installed. I would think that, since there is a 7 day free trial, payment information would be required. Moreover at the end of that trial, a purchase as the OP made will still be required, meaning an account with Norton was created. I have only seen a standard subscription shown in my account once when I had only one device to cover many years ago. N360 Deluxe covers Protection for 5 PCs, Macs, tablets, or smartphones.
If the OP purchased Norton 360 Deluxe devices should be shown within their account. Would it matter if the app was installed vice install with the download installer? @C_M1 Does your account show a download link under the subscription?
Download link? I only see the download button on the right under ‘My Subscriptions,’ which only takes me to the Norton Password Manager install tab (the download button on the dashboard does the same.)
Contact support, they will have to correct this for you as we don’t have access to your account on the forums. Chose “My topic is not listed above”. Click get help and log into your account, follow prompts
It has been a while since I have had to install 360 iOS. But I see now that there is an option to choose different subscription levels when purchasing 360 through the app.
