How to transfer to a new computer without using remaining available install?

I just got a new computer and would like to set up Norton 360 on it, while still leaving the remaining install available.  I will no longer be using the old computer and want to save the last install for a future laptop.  Can I do this? Or do you only get 3 activations total?
