How to turn off APR Poison Auto Protection?

Norton Antivirus 11.1.2(17)

 

After the IT guys installed some new equipment my internet is sporadic.  I keep having to renew my DHCP Lease every 5-20 minutes.  Further research in the Norton AV log shows hundreds of "ARP Cache Poison" events that coincide with the internet stoppages.

 

I researched this forum and discovered a post on how to turn off the Auto Protection.  (http://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-for-Mac/Norton-Antivirus-11-0-1-and-APR-Cache-Poison/m-p/89557#M408)

 

However, this was for 11.0.0 and my version 11.1.2(17) does not match the directions.

 

Any help would be great.  I would hate to have to disable the software completely.
