How to turn off Security Risk Alerts

Hello, I recently upgraded to Norton 360 v 5.1 and I can't figure out how to turn off the security risk alerts for disabled features. It's not like the last version that had the little "i" near the message that allowed you to ignore the risks. Please help.

Hi dave-mac,

Try hovering the mouse cursor over the name of the feature you want to ignore.

No, that' doesn't work either unfortunately. I found that post too but I don't get a pop-up or tool tip when I hover my cursor.

The instructions below are for version 4, however, it should be the same for V5 as well:

What disabled feature are you still getting alerts for?  I had a few disabled and I didn't get alerts for them whilst disabled.

SONAR protection, inbound email scanning, outbound email scanning.

I can see disabling e-mail scanning if you don't use POP/SMTP but why disable SONAR?

If SONAR is tripping false positives too frequently, you can turn off SONAR Advanced Mode and it won't trigger an alert.

elsewhere's above suggestion works for v5 and for e-mail, SONAR, and all other alerts.

Yes, that worked! Thanks.
