How to uninstall Norton App Lock

After installing App Lock and getting a better understanding of its functionality, I realized I don't need it (No one else uses my phone).  Help in that app states that "To uninstall Norton App Lock, Device Administrator must first be deactivated."  I activated Device Administrator through "Making Norton App Lock a Device Administrator", then deactivated it.  I then backed out of App Lock, and restarted it only to find no uninstall option and the same help text.  How can I uninstall this app?  I'm on Android 6.0.

Glad you found it.

We all started somewhere. That is how we learn.

Sorry - I'm a bit of a novice to Marshmallow.  Uninstall is accessible via the android device settings apps section.  App Lock successfully uninstalled.

Device Administrator was deactivated by default when I first checked App Lock's settings.  I activated it then deactivated it and restarted App Lock but still had no option to uninstall.

You need to deactivate the Device Administrator from the App Lock app's settings. Then you should be able to uninstall.
