How to uninstall Norton Secure VPN (old version, have Norton 360 now)

Issue abstract: Norton 360 was automatically installed on my Windows 11 laptop. It comes with Norton VPN. However, the old Secure VPN starts a Windows process, but does not show up as application.

Detailed description:
Cannot uninstall old Norton Secure VPN. I have used Norton Remove tool, tried to find in app list (not there), etc. I can kill the Secure VPN processes once I reboot, but this is a pain. Norton 360 VPN starts, but the Secure VPN fails, probably because it is crippled.

Did you have the Norton Secure VPN installed before 360 was installed? If not, the Secure VPN you see is the VPN feature within the 360 app. It cannot be removed separately and does not show up as an app in Windows settings…

peterweb, yes, the Norton Secure VPN was installed before 360. Why does the 360 VPN turn on okay, while the old one (opened via ^ on task bar) have a different interface and will fail when trying to start? I can End Task of the Norton Secure VPN and the 360 VPN still indicates it is still running.
