How to use Remote Monitoring features in NIS2011

Hi,

 

I have setup Remote Monitoring between 2 PC.  They are setup with passkeys and are enable.

 

Question:   how do they work?  What are they for?

 

Can't find any information about them.

 

Help greatly appreciated.

When remote monitoring is set up for two or more computers, you can view specific details of another computer on your network. 

 

Open the Network Security Map, highlight a computer on your network, then click "Details".  You can then view the following information about another computer:

 

Antiphishing

Antiphishing Statistics

AntiSpam

AntiSpyware

AntiVirus

Automatic LiveUpdate

Browser Protection

Incoming Email Scanning

Instant Messenger Scanning

Intrusion Prevention

Last 5 AntiVirus Threats

Last 5 High Risk AntiVirus Threats

Last Full System Scan

Outgoing Email Scanning

Product Version

Protection Updates

Pulse Updates

Smart Firewall

SONAR Protection

Subscription Status

Virus Definitions Date

Windows Automatic Update

Thank you for your help.

 

I will try it at home tonight and post any problems.  But I noticed there are no way to tell which is the MAIN computer as supposed to the others in the monitoring process.
