How's that again?

I got what appears to be a good answer to the problem I posted last week, and quickly too.   However, I did not understand how I would go about implementing it, and it appears that once an answer is put in, nobody bothers to look at a subsequent question.  So, regretfully I repeat myself here:

Thanx for the replies.  "Go back to your original process, but this time just sign into your Norton Account instead of creating a new one."  I'm not sure I understand how to do this.  It would seem that I would need to ...  uninstall the current ID safe program on my computer?  It's part of my Norton Suite, and I have looked around for something that would be like this but couldn't find anything.  I don't really understand how I can go back to the beginning again.
