Have HTC one and mobile security will not allow backups (keeps saying "sign in failed" and daily backups revert to saying); support has tried for six months without a solution. Any ideas??
Not sure which suggestion helped in the end, but glad you got things working again.
Support is usually good at helping users, but sometimes you need to ask someone who has actually used the product.

Can you sign into your account at https://mobilesecurity.norton.com
Can you see your device backups there?
Are you signed into your account in the app? That is when you tap on the 3 bars at the top left of the Norton Mobile Security, NMS, app, do you see your email address, or just Sign In?
Try restarting the phone and see if that helps. If not, go to the NMS settings and scroll to the Anti Theft section and turn off the Device Administrator setting. Then go to Android Settings - Apps and look for NMS. Then clear the app cache and app data. Restart the phone and try NMS again. You will have to sign into your account again. Once for the app, and once for the Contact Backup. Also be sure to turn the Device Administrator setting back on in NMS.
