Hello, , ,
I re-newed my Norton 360, 2 days ago.
Absolutely every icon file on my h/d, as well as desktop now have a huge check mark in the lower left corner.
The check mark is over 25% of the icon in size. Very annoying, and in some cases obliterates an icon picture.
I searched the forum and this is the closest I could find, , ,
http://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-360/Green-check-marks-on-icons-N360/m-p/40934/highlight/true#M6025
The above link appears to be a 2008 post.
I could not find the click in the backup section (as mentioned in the above link), to turn off these check marks.
I never had this problem with my previous Norton 360 subscription.
How can I turn off these anoying check marks?

I think I found another post.

From main Page, Select Settings > Under Quick Controls on Right Hand side, uncheck Backup Status Overlays
I think this works, , ,

MEmilio, hopefully that took care of you. I started reading the post and was ready to reply with the exact same info you found of mine from an earlier post.
BTW, I kudo'd your post for taking the intuitive to search the forums for an answer on you own.
Hopefully this cleared it up for you!
