A couple of days ago Norton Security Premium deleted many hundreds of files off my Windows 10 PC that it flagged as being a threat called "WS.Reputation.2". Needless to say I'm extremely unimpressed! Some files were quarantined but many were deleted. There is no easy way to get these files back! I have to say that I think it is a gross design flaw to delete files in such a manner, especially since I know these files do not contain a virus. They were files of many file types and also many of the files were years old and have been scanned for viruses many times over without an issue. I have since disabled scanning for "WS.Reputation.1" and "WS.Reputation.2", but if this in some way happens again I will have no hesitation removing all Norton software from my computer! >:(
