I bought norton mobile securtiy in September 2011 and activated it on my Galaxy S2 mobile phone.
A couple of months later I found the license had 'expired' and my norton product was no longer working.
After hours and hours with norton support, on both the live chat, and on the telephone, and along with my having to email photograps of the original box and all contents to Norton, the problem was resolved.
It was a terrible experience, and I felt as though Norton didn't believe I had actually bought the product.
Nothing I could have done would have allowed me to resolve the problem myself.
It was entirely a fault with the product/licensing.
Shortly after this, I had to spend more hours with Norton support, both live chat and telephone, as the product was not working correctly. (problem with the sneak peek feature)
The problem again turned out to be a fault with the product, and not something I could resolve myself.
It was finally fixed by an update to the product.
In April 2012 I bought a copy of Norton Tablet Security for my brand new Galaxy Talet and activated it.
The activation date shows that I activated the product in August 2011, although I didn't buy the tablet until April 2012.
Today I noticed that the Anti Theft on both my phone and my tablet are not working and are telling me the licenses have expired.
I contacted Norton support who did not seem to understand that I had a phone and a tablet.
I was passed from one person to another, who were all very sorry that my Norton products were faulty, and assured me they would fix it.
Eventually I gave up in disgust.
I was tired of trying to explain the issue to numerous people.
I just want my products to work, without having to spend hours and hours (no exaggeration) with support people.
I have had too many problems to persevere with Norton any longer.
I'm looking for alternative security products for all of my machines.
