I received an email from express scripts about our prescription order and it said to ckick for details. WHen I clicked on it my Norton Safe Web popped up saying it was a Malicious Web-site and was blocked. I called Express Scripts and they said there was no problem with their web-site. I went onto the internet and accessed express scripts and our account with no problem. I went back to the email they sent me and clicked again and got the malicious warning. The email is from them. I asked when I called and they said they sent it to me. Why am I getting this warning. The malicious warning said I can ignore their warning and enter the site, but I am afraid to try it. Can someone help? Is there a problem with Norton 360 Safe Web that is causing this to happen?
Express Scripts does not use a name in their emails do to the HIPPA Laws. It did have our RX number and information about the prescription. The mouse pointer does give the correct express script address. Today when I tried it again and the malicious code came up I clicked on detailed report and it said that Norton rated the site as safe. They said there a re no computer threats, identity threats or annoyance factors with this site. If Norton is saying the site is safe then I don't understand why they are blocking it as a malicious web-site.
Hi, Shirley. It may have been a false positive. If you're happy that the site is genuine and that the situation has been resolved, I'd not be too concerned.
It's always wise to be wary of emails that get flagged, until you're satsfied that it is genuine.
