i am a subscriber to norton int. sec for more than 5 years.. i recently registered for the nis forum.. i dont understand, why, if i am a subscriber for some time, doesnt norton automatically enroll me as a forum member? why not offer subscribers the option to automatically enroll, if they so schoose? it would save some time in enrolling.. norton could, upon a subscriber accepting the option for automatic enrollment, allow the subscriber to accept current subscriber data to establish membership, or offer the subscriber an option to change-- (username, etc.).. if the subscriber chooses not to enroll just then, but chooses to do so at another time, the forum software would alert the subscriber that enrollment could be automatically handled, instantly.. i think thats a great idea..
but, i could be wrong!
also, if im logged in as a valid member, why must i confirm my post with CAPTCHA inout? im a valid subscriber and im a valid member, and still i have to figure out the mish-mash of letters? why? seems unduly repititous and burdensome to me..
