Re title above, I have tried the Norton Eraser to try to remove this virus to no avail. Would like to know if anyone has had success removing this virus and what steps they took to do so. Thank you very much in advance for your help!

Very interesting. Just few days ago scanned my PC with KVRT with NS installed and having just the same detection. Tried to remove it but just can’t do it. Then I found this topic in Kaspersky forum https://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?/topic/390507-cant-remove-memtrojanscriptangrypowergen/. Now I know that it was Kaspersky false positive (KVRT recognize Norton as Trojan). Someone from those topic said that reinstalling Norton with RnR Tool help here.
If Malwarebytes does not get the infection, contact Norton Support and ask for the Virus Protection Promise. They can remote into your system and try to remove what your regular Norton product could not. What is Norton Virus Protection Promise?
