I logged in to simply ask how I can set up Norton to automatically log me in to the Vault - I'm tired having to manually do this each time I login. But when I visited this site - my system alerted me to 14 hidden trackers on the page - all attempting to log my traffic - and none of them for Norton! What gives? I thought this site was all about internet security - AND privacy.
I have turned off my ad blockers and use Ghostery. On Norton's Home page, there are 19 trackers, on My Account Page there are 10 trackers - and on the Forum Page there are 15. I have attached a screen shot to show you - taken two minutes ago. I understand this is a business, I understand the terms of service - it just doesn't seem right to me to have this amount of secret tracking by a company I pay to provide me with security. I'm not an IT guy, so if anyone knows what these tracers are all for, I would be interested to know. And I also want to apologize for my rude initial response - it's not who I am. Screen shot attached.
Can't read it, can only see one that was previously mentioned. Use the IMCE button to add an inline image, use a PNG so we don't get poor quality. Add more detail if your blocking program allows it.

Well, I only installed Ghostery just to see # with my adblocker & scripts control off and with allow third party cookies. 4 may not be representative. YMMV
I saw the 1st, 3rd, and 4th items. (which don't concern me since I already have them otherwise blocked). I did not see the 2nd one(unable to guess URL), nor anything else that could add up to 14. A previous forum user was blocking the post editor and about 100 other innocent components, so this case also has me curious.

John
Can you be more specific as to which 14 things you are seeing?
Hmmm. Guru? Well, thanks for cutting and pasting the Norton legal terms of agreement - but it was hardly an insightful response and void of any comment, which is fails to meet my expectations of a guru, someone supposedly sage and circumspect. Two of the trackers identified have been flagged as a privacy concern - which is surely a little troubling when it's on a site dedicated to keeping me safe - and for which I pay a fee. I doubt most people are aware of the hidden trackers and their role or that Norton/Symantec are part of that program.
....in your opinion.

Now, you're aware regarding Norton Community Terms and Conditions.

Do you disagree? Have an opinion? Something else you might like to cut and paste? Or perhaps you can dazzle us with you encyclopedic knowledge of Norton's terms of service once again... or perhaps an emoji? I'm sure you can find something suitable if you search carefully, something to reflect your depth of insight...
