.I am sorry to be saying goodbye.

Dearest Norton and Semantic, Since the dawn of my internet time, somewhere around ohhh, dial up modems and 14kb downloads ( woohoo) the Norton/ Semantic- guru- computer- protector Gods, have been my heroes more than once and I have nothing but praise and good reviews, always. :smileyhappy: And it is with much regret but it is time to say goodbye.

The fact of the matter is, I am a very hard working single mother with two boys in college and even though I know this is a bad decision, I am going to have to resort to another virus protection program that is less expensive or free. , I simply cannot afford the cost of this trusted product anymore because it seems like every dollar I earn has to go more places than the year before.   Medical books are so expensive and the $70 I spend every year for all three of us is just needed in other areas.  I even quit the daily Starbucks and for sure cut out my Mac Davis8 track tape obsession. ( I have sacrificed )    I have owned my own business for all my life it seems like and Norton has been there for me every step along the way.  In the very early days when Melissa and Mydoom hit my tiny little computer that I had to take a monumental loan for,  Norton stood up, came through and restored my files in fact,  stayed up with me on the phone one evening until daylight because they were just that dedicated. Whether it was my on my work PC, laptop, or that thing in the boys room they "built" that worries me from time to time they call their super computer that had to be water-cooler (???) Norton/Semantic customer service answered my calls and helped when it was needed.

My job is all about customer service and the one thing that keeps me going is when a stranger tells me something nice that my little business has done for them and so in turn, even if this post is never read by anyone except for that thing I have never seen even once called "bot" or "crawler", it has been said by me that Norton is the best computer protection program ever built I don't care what anyone says.  I'll be back when I can afford to purchase another security product from them so until then, keep on killing those horrible little worms and Trojans.  Peace to all and I am sincerely yours,  Teresa Gordon
