I bought wrong version of Internet Security

Thought I was getting regular Internet Security. After opening box I discovered I got the Netbook Version. Since box is open I can't return.

 

I have not installed the program yet.

 

Is ther any way to get the correct version?

or am I out of luck and have to buy the correct version?

Definitely contact Customer Service Chat.  They have an excellent return policy.

Symantec's refund policy applies when you buy from any authorized distributor -- it does not have to be from Norton! And if you do it within the time slot it doesn't matter if the box has been opened or if you've installed and used it !!!!!!!! Nice people.

 

Contact the nice OnLine Customer Support via the CHAT link -- you may have to scroll down on the linked page to see the CHAT button or you'll end up back here! -- and the chances are they will supply you with a KEY for the standard version and give you link to download the file you need to install the standard version ... or we can give you the link. That downloaded file will be much more uptodate than any disk version since they don't get changed.

 

Is this your first install of Norton? If you are installing it on a new PC you need to clean off any other version of a security program first -- even if it's Norton it's better to do so. We can tell you what exactly to do if you tell us what the security program is.

 

And any other help you need too ....
