I can not create a backup on my external drive

hello @bjm, not yet. After searching I found the hint to run the remove and reinstall. But after running it is still the same. The first time I could run a local backup on my external USB drive. But now it can’t be seen anymore in norton 360.
Ich now have activated the debug logs and try again to run a local backup. But after clicking on “create backup” I only see the window telling “no local backups created” and with the “create local backup” button.
I now will send the debug logs

fwiw ~ my preference is Remove only…with scour File Explorer for remnants and CCleaner - Registry - Scan for Issues + CCleaner…back up the registry before making changes. Just me.

And you’re sure external drive has been reseated and is powered?
And you do find N360_BACKUP folder?
for example:

Have you reported “issue” via Norton support?
Having an open Case ID: number…will get more attention.

Note: Norton Lv1 support will request “remote session” as they’re likely to do before escalating.
If you feel comfortable with “remote session”. I’d urge you (only if you feel comfortable) to allow “remote session”. Support may have a solution. Support will likely follow they’re playbook…which likely will involve Repair Norton, Reset to Default & clean re-install. Again, only if you feel comfortable. Then “unresolved issue” can be escalated.
