There is nothing to worry about the settings. It will only disable the Norton 360 backup context menu options, backup status overlay icons, and Norton Backup Drive. You can still be able to run backup to external drives or online storage without any problem. You can follow the same instructions to re-register the file, only the command will be different. The command is

regsvr bushell.dll

Thanks gain, but even with the space this did not work.

 

When I type in the first command ending in 5.*  I get 5.0.0.125, is this correct?

 

 

Interestingly, today the program will load after I created a  a "new user" but not with my log in

I'll treat this as a temporary but useful workaround until a permanent fix is released.
