I cannot set up homegroup, and I suspect Norton isn't letting me

Good evening

I have been trying to set up a homegroup for the past three hours, and none of my wireless computers are detecting it. I strongly suspect that Norton's firewall is preventing any of my wireless computers from connecting and I cannot figure out how to get around it. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for responding

I made sure all the trust levels are at full. And on my netbook, it is claiming the homegroup has not  been created.

I'm right now trying to narrow down all possibilities for what is going on. If the trust levels are at max, should that show that it is not Norton that is causing the problem?

Hi,

Start -> computer -> right click properties -> are all of the computers in the same workgroup? If you don't want to use the default you can change the workgroup name to almost any work that suits you.

Keep us in the loop
