I disabled Norton Internet Security for 15-minutes under advanced settings; however, when I tried to

go into the program to re-activate it, there was a red "X" in front of the desktop icon.  Clicking on the icon does nothing.  If I try to access NIS via Windows, it is not clickable either.  Have tried to "chat" with tech support 5 times; however, when I try to grant them access for a "go-to-assist" session, nothing.  Eventually, the "chat" is disconnected as well.  Thank you for any advice.  I'm about to contact McAfee and ditch Norton, as I can not get a human being to speak with me.
