I get repeated ads for Norton Driver Updater telling me that I have 11 outdated drivers. Norton offers a fix for $60 per year in addition to my existing subscription fee. This popup ad does not offer, "Do not show this to me again." Glarysoft Utilities Pro tells me that I have no outdated drivers. This conflict combined with incessant popup ads for other Norton products, and my previous distrust of Norton many years ago, as well as a general distrust of claims made by any business with a profit motive, have me wanting methods to verify Norton's claims. Thank you in advance to all who can offer insights, opinions, or strategies towards reconciling this or similar conflicts with Norton.
