I do not want and will not use a cloud vault. I want a local vault

I am a new community member. This is my first post. Unfortunately it is about a serious problem--the recent change in the Norton Identity Safe in Norton 360 to 'force' users to use a cloud vault.

I do not want and will not use a cloud vault. I want a local vault. This is not just a technical issue, it is a social issue.

I hardly every complain. And when I do I try to be very polite, open-minded, fair, and temperate. But...

I have been both an individual & corporate user of your products for a very long time. I would like to continue to do so. But I will not if you think you can force customers to give in to what *you* decide is best for them. I knew Peter Norton from back in the old West Coast Computer Faire days. He would be ashamed of this arrogant corporate behavior. You should be too.

Your explanation and defense of why you made this change is ludicrous. It is not just a matter of safety, privacy, security, and control. It is a matter of your relationship with your customers, your corporate brand, your reputation & image.

You have really blown it. And are making it worse by not immediately apologizing and reversing this terrible decision. Soon the damage to your brand, image, reputation, & trust will be irreversible.  Please act immediately and provide your customers with the option to maintain a local only password vault. Thank you. --Rick
