I appear to have a problem, early this morning; I had just watched a movie on the Solar movie website, then went to the Free TV website and started watching Star Gate the series, as Star Gate started the PC locked up, my mouse was suddenly not working and pop ups started coming up everywhere, everything from sex sites to products for sale, there was a mouse moving across the screen clicking on different ads on the screen, the power button would not work (power shut off), I finally got the Ctrl / Alt / Del buttons to work, I then had to use the arrow keys to move down the list and shut down Firefox, as the mouse was not working, I am using Norton, FireFox all latest editions and downloads/updates etc, I also have WinPatrol Pro and Adblock Plus 2.3.2 running with WinPatrol being the first thing to warn me I had a problem, but when I tried to close the screens coming up but only succeeded in opening more windows.
My question is since I have so many programs running for safely how did I get hit?
