I wonder if anyone can help me. A couple of days ago I bought NIS 2013. I un-installed NIS 2012 then proceeded to install 2013. All went well until I got an error message saying I must install new virus definitions which I did by following the instructions. A few hours later while on the net my computer got the BSOD, shut down, re-started and recovered. Then today it failed to start up. I had to use a restore point to get it back up and running and now NIS 2013 is gone and I only have the expired version 2012 on my computer again.
I've never had this problem before, my PC (HP Pavilion) is only a year and a bit old and Norton is the only hardware I've installed since NIS 2012. What should I do? I'm afraid to re-install it. Will it carry on if I do?
I have windows 7 64 bit I think. I'm not a computer expert either so any easy to understand answers would be very welcome!
