After a LMI chat, where Norton had control over my PC, as long ago as April 11th, Norton left an LMI chat pop up that won't go away. I have been on the phone multiple times with Norton and each time they reassure me that a level 2 technician will be in touch with me. I have received many Emails saying that Norton support attempted to contact me however I have no record of such calls on my phone and I have not once heard my phone ring from a call from Norton. Is this their typical practice with other customers? I continue to wait for a solution!
Man, that sounds super frustrating. I've had my own share of issues with tech support, but what you're describing with Norton is next level. It's ridiculous that they haven't sorted this out yet. It sounds like you're stuck in some sort of customer service loop. I don't know if it's their typical practice, but it definitely shouldn't be. One thing you might try is reaching out to them on social media. Sometimes companies are more responsive when they're called out publicly on platforms like Twitter or Facebook. It might be worth a shot. In the meantime, maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling Norton yourself, if you haven't already.
Hi. Thanks for your advice and help. There had been at least 3 level one technicians that tried to solve the pop up via LMI chat without success. I'm still not entirely sure how or why the pop up has stooped. I will try to add the PNG images I took. The second image I now get when I log into Norton Support. Once again, thank you. I am so relieved that the pop up is gone.
Hello. I can't quite explain yet I entered my guest profile on my Windows PC where the Norton pop up was in order to try out your advice in clicking the X (close) button on the left hand side. Instead when I entered the profile I received a message from Norton which I will attach. The pop up appears to be gone!!! There is an error message now that I am receiving trying to log into Norton Support. Thank you for your concern and help. I can no longer add a PNG image file?
