Hi doProtek,

We are working on supporting Firefox3.5 and in the process of testing it.   For now, please use Internet Explorer  or  go to Start/Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs.

Highlight Mozilla Firefox 3.51 and click Remove button, then install any Firefox version prior to 3.5.

Please check Norton 360 Forum at http://community.norton.com/norton/board?board.id=Norton_360 for more details on the issues with Norton IPS 1.0 and Norton Toolbar 3.5.

Thanks,

Katie

We have posted an update.

Matt

Social networking activity not reported.  Using IE 7.  The Norton add-ins are enabled.  Windows Vista 32 Bit version.

My daughter has used facebook several times but the activity log shows no activity.

macleodken,

Please make sure the Social Network Supervision is turned on under Settings ->Social.

Do you see any other activities get reported, for example, Web activities?

Thanks,

Katie

Yes Social monitoring is turned on and yes I am receiving web activity.  Facebook shows up as a visited website under All Activity but there is no activity under Social Networking.

macleodken,

1. Do you see an account has been setup under Settings -> Social as shown in the screen snap below?

2. What version of Norton Safety Minder installed on the kid's PC?  You can find it by clicking on the NSM icon (a dog paw image) in the system tray and selecting About Norton Safety Minder.

The message says my daughtger "...has no known Social Network Accounts"

We are using version, 1.1.021.

It seems to be working now.

Thanks

Hi. I just intalled this program on my computer that is shared with my 4 kids. I created log ins for everyone. I wanted to test things out so I went on my daughters side and searched for porn and such. Nothing stopped me from viewing all kinds of things and entering into those websites. Also, it doesnt show any activity for her at all. I have read the other posts and all my settings seem to be correct. I’m not sure what I am doing wrong… I use firefox but they use internet explorer… Please help.

Hi kbnamon,

Please make sure each of your kids is being monitored.  Please go to Settings -> Profile, do you see each of your kids' profile has the setting as below?

Yes they are all protected like shown.

kbnamon,

Please make sure you have the "Web supervision" turned on under Settings ->Web and the"Search supervision" turned on under Settings -> Search.

Thanks,

Katie

Yes, those settings are definitly in place. Web and search supervision is on and block this site is checked for all .

Hi kbnamom,

Please click on the NSM icon (a dog paw image) and select Edit Accounts, then enter your email and password (the same information as you use to log onto OnlineFamily.Norton.com and make sure the kids’ Windows accounts have been connected to the profiles on the website (See the screen snap below).

I am also receiving messages that Norton security minder has been disabled but the program appears to still be monitioring activity.  the kids do not have the password. Could this message be an error?

Don

Yes, all of the accounts are connected to the proper profiles.
