I have a question on Norton studio

I've had this version of Norton Studio for about nine months.  I've always been able to manually do a quick scan or a full scan.  But recently I have no clue what happen to the icons to make this happen.  Did Norton change something? 

Last night I did an uninstall and reinstall and was able to perform these tasks.  I thought everything was good.  But this morning I went into Norton thinking I would do a full scan but again I don't see any options for this.  I'd like to know if anyone can tell me what is going on.  Should I be concerned that my computer is infected and a virus is compromising my Norton's software?

Hi Richard:

well, disabling the "Fast Startup" would do the trick - time-saving: just type POWER in the search box > choose Power Options from the search results.

Are you using Windows 8? If so, plz try disabling Fast Startup(@ Control Panel –> Power Options –> System Settings) > restart your Win8 -> re-check your Norton Studio.
