Or so it seems.
After I downloaded something, the file simply disappeared.
When I turn my computer on, I don't get my normal log on screen but a black screen with a window (looks like the window that you get when you turn off in some computers) in which I need to type my username as well.
Then I simply see my normal wallpaper with nothing on it, no shortcuts or that windows bar.
Then a "Data Execution Prevention" error appears telling me that windows closed a program called "Run a DLL as an APP"(used to get one when trying to use ctrl+alt+delete, but not anymore).
Somehow through that error messege I got to my broswer, from there I just downloaded a random file (from my C drive) so I could use the "Open containing folder" option, then I saw the folder and the windows bar and my icons reappeared.
I've googled "Virus Run a DLL as an APP" messege to try and find anything, nothing really usafull, found a forum topic in which the person who got this error as well was asked to check his computer for Viruses, I then downloaded "Spyware Doctor" and it found a lot of problems, however I couldn't fix then because I need to pay for the program and I already paid for Norton 360...
What should I do?
Also, my external hard drive was connected, I disconnected it after a while so it won't get affected, is there a risk to connected it to and I used to get one when trying to use ctrl+alt+delete, but not anymore
Thanks.
I think it is a trojen because in a forum where people tried to download the file from another place they said it was a trojen.
