I have HAD it with Norton Online Backup!

I've used NOBU for about six months.  When it works, it works well.  There occur, however, instances when the application will simply not start.  Not from the shortcut.  Not from the file manager.  Not from the command window.  The only way I have been able to get out of this situation is to get online, wait for an agent, who logs into my machine, "fixes" something, and renders the program operable.  I am presently killing time - thus far, one hour - waiting for someone to "fix" my latest instance of this problem.

 

When this instance is repaired, I'll be saying a fond farewell to this product, which, if there was a God, would never see the front side of a monitor.
