what is the general level of experience anyone has had with this product.
they have stored multiple files on my computer which cannot be removed
enough that processes outside of the realm of searchable solutions are running, every day

If you are referring to Norton files you are trying to remove, that is blocked by the Norton Product Tamper Protection feature. You need to turn that off in Norton Settings before trying to remove any Norton files. Or you can uninstall the Norton product.
