I hit "Fix Now" but it keeps saying "Fix this issue" repeatedly

I hit "Fix Now" on the Security window, but it still says "Fix this issue, your virus & spyware definitions are not up-to-date.  You Mac may be at risk" even though it said it finished updatign.
