I am trying to delete files off my computer and it will not let me. Google search says it could be Norton blocking that how do I temporarily disable Norton.

download the Norton removal tool, restart the computer. delete your files and re-install Norton if you wish.
What kind of files are you trying to delete? Norton should only block you from trying to remove files related to your Norton product.
Other files may be system files that your Windows installation will block you from removing.
