I need to revert to version 22.24.8.36 but in french.
Version 24 xxxxxxxx is catastrophic!!!
Is there someone who could help me to retrieve the installation file in French.

Hello. Have researched for a French download there isn’t one that I can find. This is the link for the English version: My earlier post for reverting is below:

** My suggestion is since you will be removing version 24.xx before installing your reverted version just install it. Activation should go smoothly with your current product key. Your language should be shown accordingly. Please post back here if your language not changing continues to be an issue.

Just a question: The download link you shared with us with the greatest kindness, only allows to update the virus definitions… Is there a risk of always using an incomplete Norton 360 ?

When you revert you DO have a complete product with that version. The Intelligent updater will keep your virus definitions up to date. The only thing you won’t be receiving are feature updates. Doing so would only reinstall version 24.xx which defeats the purpose of reverting. Make sure you DO NOT manually run Smart Scan or manually run Live Updates. Doing so will reinstall the 24.xx version. Glad to hear we could help!!
Thank you for the kind words as well. Indeed there are still those around the small little world we call home who do genuinely care about more than just themselves. I have visited your country as well although more than three decades removed. Toulon, Dunkirk, Caen were my favorite ports of call while I were on active duty in our Navy. Beautiful and the locals were more than friendly. I do hope to visit the EU again one day before my time is up, many, many memories await.

Now my PC is working perfectly and I have no problem installing the new virus definition updates using your standalone download link.

I never went to the United States,but I lost many comrades of the 9th Parachute Fighter Regiment in the attacks of Beirut on October 23, 1983. Simultaneous attacks that also resulted in the death of 241 American soldiers.
All these deaths while their mission was the maintenance of peace.
My company based in Toulouse should have embarked for Beirut 2 months later … I often think about it and if fate had decided otherwise.

You are most welcome. I was there, anchored on the USS Guadalcanal LPH-7, was on our flight deck loading ordnance for the Marines when the Marine barracks exploded. I was 24 at the time, it still sticks in my mind a lot, the same as you.
