I click on the Norton installation file. A Norton installation windows starts and displays that product is downloading. After a while “windows user account control” pops up asking to install files I did not download. I press “no” and installation obviously gets aborted.
I do not want to execute files I did not download directly. Is there an offline installer available?

Eine Offline-Installationsdatei gibt es nicht sondern nur den Nortoninstaller, wie Sie ihn schon heruntergeladen haben. Sie können auch von hier mal mit der entsprechenden Installationsdatei die Installation vornehmen.

Thank you for the reply. I download the file from norton.com and I am from Germany. When I double click the file no “windows user account control” prompt is coming, it comes later asking to “click yes” for a bunch of temporary dll and exe files.

In order to provide you with the correct installation file, I have the one question: In which language should the NORTON be?
I can only assume here that you downloaded the installation file from a source other than "norton.com". Hence this error message.

Ich kann nur hier vermuten, daß Sie die Installationsdatei von einer anderen Quelle als von ,,norton.com" heruntergeladen haben. Daher diese Fehlermeldung.
