I am new to all this so please be patient with me. The last couple days (after a windows update) I have had 2 pop ups that constantly appear every 10 seconds.
First pop up says:- Auto-Protect blocked security risk SAPE.Heur.4e46. Your computer is secure
Second pop up says :- Auto-Protect blocked threats.
when I go in to view details there is a long list of threats that are high risk and is now getting me worried as I don't know what this is. I have tried searching google but it only says its a virus which attaches itself to a search bar. I have scanned my laptop using norton but yet it is still on my laptop and for the price we pay for antivirus programme you would expect a virus to be removed.
I have scanned and also took it back to an earlier date but still no luck.
Please can someone shed some light on what I can do as I have no idea.
Hi i thing I have a virus I ran power eraser but it did not find anything I have Norton internet Security 2013 and it is not work right I got a error:3048,3 it updated ok but i dont know if it is working ok.Thank you.
Hello, my computer has been running more slowly lately and has crashed 2 times, but NIS hasn't picked up any viruses. I have ran Norton Power Eraser and that has picked up something which it supposedly has dealt with but I still no convinced my computer is clean as it has still crashed.
Well, it came up with m f9end.exe, status bad and said it was a file. I had it quarantined etc and after a re-boot ran NPE again and it wasn't detected again.
P.s I also have had a more tech savy friend than myself have a look at my computer, and had some things run and it hasn't detected anything.
No, they aren't a tech or anything, far from it they just popped around as I am a bit of a worrier, so they just did a malwarebytes scan for me, spybot and who crashed.
"so they just did a malwarebytes scan for me, spybot and who crashed" loading tools / programs on a system with problems ( if that is the problem ) can cause more problems.
What is your Operating System including if 32 bit or 64 bit. I may have to break programs if that is the cause of the problems as well.
