Sorry, not sure if a new thread was necessary- but I have got good news because right now the reinstallation the tech did for me was successful.. And get this- My subscription went from 390 left to 750 days! Nearly a double in days and didn't cost a dime :smileysurprised:-  Thats awesome! maybe you guys will get free days too doing this! Hehe.. I did it on my mothers computer- he used the removal tool bar and deleted all the files out of the registry then just reinstalled it and problem fixed.. Now its time to do it on my laptop and get the free days and the security status working again :smileytongue: I hope you guys will be as fortunante as me!

For all I know this could change back to red, but hasn't yet and I would think might have by now. Either way- even if it does, I still got a nice little bump in the subscip so it was worth it!

Well- forget what I said about it working. Only half lucky. After a couple of reboots it went back to 'risk'. However it was 755 days actually, so for whatever reason I got exactly 1 year extra on the reinstallation, so I would still HIGHLY recom. it!
