I need basic. Here's my problem. I have NIS, Vista and ATT DSL. When I log off and log back on about 4-8 hours later I can't get the Internet. Windows pops up with this message that says "unable to connect to internet". Then I click on diagnose connection problems. It then goes to another link that tells me to click on "reset the network adapter". After a few seconds it says the problem is resolved and I'm able to get the Internet. This has been going on for months after I downloaded some updates. It must be some settings I have for Norton but any suggestion would be appreciated.
