I use Thunderbird on Windows 7. SEP detected "attachments00.hqx" , "w32.blackmal.E@mm!" in gmail. The virus which SEP cleans replicates again and again in "ALL MAIL" folder on Thunderbird.
I followed instructions as per removal tool and also maual method " https://www.symantec.com/security_response/writeup.jsp?docid=2006-011712-2537-99&tabid=3 ". Did not help.
I think "w32.blackmal.E@mm!" is in gmail itself. Change gmail pwd. Faced same issue.
As such, every time i run SEP , thunderbird shows "w32.blackmal.E@mm!" under folder
"\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\95h0zz60.default\ImapMail\imap.googlemail.com\[Gmail].sbd\All Mail>>Unknown****B06.data>>Unknowwn********92C.data"
Kindly help.
