Hi, I'm running Internet Security 2010 on a netbook, with Windows XP. When I turned on the computer yesterday, after loading startup, the screen displayed an Antipiracy warning, poorly formatted, threatening me with prosecution due to violating antipiracy laws. Due to the size of the netbook screen, the screen only partially displays, and I can't get out of it or scroll down.
I did some research and found that this is a trojan, but I'm not sure how to correct it. I can get to some programs and data by using CTRL-ALT-DELETE and getting to the Task Manager and New Task, but I can't get connected to the internet. I've been running IS 2010 and it updates and scans all the time, but I'm not sure how to correct this.
Anyone else out there have any solutions?
Thanks!
J
